Brian Cunniffe formed Technique Manufacturing Corporation cc in July 1998, in response to the following market conditions:

• Excellent growth opportunities existed in the specialized manufacturing niche market of Aluminuim automotive components.
• Toyota SA had a number of problematic suppliers, where lucrative contracts would potentially become available.
• Technique Tool and Die cc, an already established business since 1991, serving the Auto Industry and owned by Brian Cunniffe, was ideally positioned to support the new manufacturing venture with Tooling expertise, existing production contracts and sound finances.

Today, 20 years later, Technique Manufacturing employs 103 staff and are a preferred Toyota OEM supplier.
